**For 1-2: Use the formula S = (n-2) x 180
** For 3-5: 2 steps/ First use the formula above to find the sum of the interior angles. THEN, write an equation to solve for x. For number 3: 122 + 134 + 46 + x = (whatever you got for the sum using the formula)
**For 6-7 Sum of exterior angles of a triangle is = 360.
# 6 equation: 3r + 115 + 100 + 25 = 360
**8-9: This is what we did Thursday and Friday. If two angles are congruent then the triangles are similar.

1)Watch the video on finding the sum of interior angles of polygons.
2) page 123 in math text. Complete problems 4-10 using the formula:
S = ( n - 2 ) x 180 (n is = to the number of sides on the polygon)
TRY NUMBER 11 FOR EXTRA CREDIT: Look up how many sides a pentagon has. Use the formula to find out the sum of the interior angles. Then see if the angles can measure the ones in problem 11.

1) Check answers of page 114 1-11. The answer key is on Google Classroom. If you had any trouble with page 114, email me immediately or have your parent contact me.
2) Big Ideas book page 115 12-14. Re-watch the video on Google Classroom for finding the exterior angle. # 14 equation should look like this: 2a = a + 10 = 44. This is a difficult problem. Josh, I can walk you through it since you did not have the lesson on solving equations with variables on both sides. Everyone else: remember to combine like terms on the same side of the equation and then move the a to the 2a side. Anyone who gets the problem correct and emails me, gets extra credit.
* Try page 115 number 15. You have to find the correct answer and them tell me what the error was.
3) On Google Classroom I posed a worksheet assignment. If you have trouble submitting it, just do the work on a of paper, take a picture of it with answers, and then email to me.

Page 112: Example 1 shows how to find a missing angle in a triangle. Set up an equation and solve for x.
