Monday Classwork: On Friday, you chose an Animal Farm essay question to answer (on Google Classroom). Today you will type your response onto Google Docs, title the file, Animal Farm 1, and share with me. Look over your response and add details from the story. Check for capitalization and punctuation. This is due by 9:00 am Tuesday morning. I will be checking your response at that time.
Kelvin: I received a picture of your response to question 1. I want you to add details about why you feel intelligence is not the most important quality for a leader to have. Brainstorm ideas relating to our leaders in the United States. Also, relate it to the leaders in Animal Farm, Napolean and the other pigs. **If you did the T Chart Yesterday, I will post a graphic organizer for your intro paragraph. First you need to write a short summary of the events in the story and share it with me. The summary should only be about 4-5 sentences. You can bullet point the MAJOR event about revolution and how it turned out. Kelvin just write down on paper and send me a picture.

1) Write in your journal for 8 - 10 minutes. If you are on a roll, keep writing!!! You can use your regular Daily Notebook Journal or you can start a Google Doc and share with me. THIS IS REQUIRED NOT OPTIONAL. When we return to school, I will be checking your journals for each dated entry. Each one is worth 10 points. If you miss a day, it is a grade of 0 out of 10.
2) Gio, Jah, and Josh: Today is the last day to work on "Koko Diary". I made suggestions and comments on Google Classroom. Jah, you never shared it with me. I will be grading it tonight. No extensions.
3) Isaiah: I am waiting for you to share your Grammar sentences from yesterday. I am grading them tonight. If they are not submitted, it is a zero.
Tuesday's assignment for Isaiah: Go onto Google Classroom under Animal Farm folder. There is a T chart for you to make a copy. Follow the directions. Fill in the left and right side of T chart (how are lives better and how are they worse since the Revolution). Send me a copy or picture of your T chart filled in. You can make the T Chart on a piece of paper.
Lessons for Monday, 3/16/2020
1) Write in your journal for 8 - 10 minutes. If you are on a roll, keep writing!!! You can use your regular Daily Notebook Journal (Josh, it is the light blue one that I gave you on Thursday) or you can start a Google Doc titled, "Daily Journal". Share your Doc with me and I will respond daily. MAKE SURE YOU DATE EACH JOURNAL ENTRY. Please make it legible and watch capitalization and punctuation. Remember: Our daily journals are worth 10 points. I will be grading effort.
