MRVED Online Courses
Students have the opportunity to take 3 online high school courses through the MRVED Online Program. These courses are designed to supplement the curricula offered by local schools.
The process to sign up for a MRVED Online Class:
1. Meet with Mrs. Mortenson to discuss online learning
2. Register for your course (add to your h.s. schedule)
3. Obtain the MRVED registration form and directions from Mrs. Mortenson--follow the steps listed.
*go to www.mrved.com and select Online Learning. Electronically complete the MRVED Online Course Enrollment Form, print out, and give to Mrs. Mortenson
4. Mrs. Mortenson will submit the form to MRVED.
5. Student must check email for instructions from online teacher regarding the course.
**students may not use a DB school email address, Yahoo, or Hotmail email account. You must set up a gmail account.
Other Online High School Courses in MN
Students who wish to take an online high school course must:
1. Inform Mrs. Mortenson of the course you would like to take
2. Choose your online school from the list of MDE Approved Online Providers (see below)
3. Contact the online school to enroll
4. Complete the necessary forms provided to you by the online school (including the OLL Notice of Student Registration)
5. Complete the "Consent for an Online Course" form (below) and submit to Mrs. Mortenson
