Pep Band
About the ensemble:
Pep Band is an extra-curricular, performing ensemble at Chesterton HS. Students are selected for this group through auditions in the spring semester of each school year. Students regularly perform a variety of energetic and entertaining repertoire at men's and women's basketball games each semester, as well as in the Chesterton Christmas Parade.
Students must enroll in a concert band or instrumental ensemble to participate in Trojan Guard, Pep Band, Jazz Band, or other band ensembles at Chesterton HS.
The CHS Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Vince Arizzi (varizzi@duneland.k12.in.us)

Schedule:
On the Saturday after Thanksgiving
4:00 PM – Brief Rehearsal at CMS Band Room. If being dropped off, enter at Music Department Entrance #4 on Morgan Ave. If driving yourself, parking is available along Morgan Ave. in front of the middle school, as well as along 5th St.
4:45 – 5:14 PM – Line up takes place during this time.
5:15 PM – Parade begins! Beautiful Holiday music emanates from the Pep Band Float. Then we are finished!
Things to Remember:
- MUST HAVE AN LED CLIP-ON LIGHT FOR PERFORMANCE
- Bring your “Santa” hats or other holiday attire. Remember to dress warm, since our float is not “heated.”
- If you are decorating your instrument, it needs to still be playable!
