Now that Summer is here, Dighton Elementary School wanted to provide some Summer resources for all 2nd grade students.

Resources for Getting Books into Kids’ Hands
Dighton Public Library Public Libraries are accepting HOLDS for titles and arranging for curbside pickup for the near future. Students can get real books for free. They can also “check out” eBooks from the Library to read/view/listen to from home. Library required but most Libraries are enabling online registration.
Dighton Public Library also has a fun virtual Summer Program in place.
Tumblebooks a service from SAILS, there are many titles available---including picture books---to view/read/listen to online.
DES SAILS Page our own page sponsored by SAILS with resources for our students. No log in required.
Audible is hosting free audio books for kids---no word on when that may expire. Great titles for all ages.

1. Sit straight looking at your monitor and back touching back of chair
2. Legs in front of you
3. Center keyboard do your nose and the letter "H" is lined up
4. Once you start typing put fingers on home row asdf jkl;
