Online Library Catalog
OPAC - the acronym for Online Public Access Catalog; it can also be referred to as the library catalog or the computer catalog. It is the computer database that contains the records of everything the library owns and whether it is checked out or not. When you get a chance, I encourage you to experiment with using the libraries’ OPACs. You can’t hurt anything and it will help you become comfortable with helping children looking for particular books.
