Spanish II is a required 18 week course in which students will review material from level one and proceed to build upon this base. This is a level when students will be able to say a lot more without relying so much on memorized phrases. In other words, students feel more independent as they progress on the language proficiency continuum. A big focus in Spanish II is the introduction of the past tenses. Ultimately, students will be required to perform tasks (written, spoken, listening, and reading) at the Novice Language Proficiency level after applying what they've learned within thematic units; all can be applied to a real world context!
