Dover-Eyota Choir

Dear Choir Students and Families,

One of the beauties of music is that the learning is never-ending; not only will I strive for musical growth among my students, but I know they will also be the biggest part of my own growth and continuous discovery of what music has to offer.  

The goals of the DEHS choir program are:

• To instill an appreciation for music in every student

• To develop healthy vocal habits for lifelong singers

• To develop self-confidence in a collaborative community

• To provide new musical experiences

• To develop skills to analyze music and interpret music 

In my experiences, being a part of a choir means being a part of another family. Choir class will be a safe atmosphere that is welcoming to all students. Each student will learn to respect one another, try new things and experience the joy of creating something amazing as a group.
