PART 2: Driver Education Podcast Assignment Introduction
Your team will have to create an audio file that will serve as a podcast for one of the following topics:
1. What makes a bad driver?
2. What makes a good driver?
3. Things that bother you about other drivers that you see on the road.
4. What are the things that are mandatory maintenance things that have to be done to the average car?
5. The new technology in cars is amazing?
You can choose other topics with instructor approval, you can combine topics.
PART 1: Your Small-Group Brainstorming:
*What are the specific things that you think should be a part of your podcast. Write them down
*Divide the topics up to research individually
Questions to think about and include
What is my story's driving question?
What is the story not about?
How will I ensure my story is fair to the people and ideas it represents?
How will I engage my audience — and hold them?
What are my dream ingredients?
What will the audience remember when it's over?
PART 2: Research your podcast information
*Divide the topics up to research individually
PART 3: Create a script—shared on google docs--It needs to be 8-10 minutes long
*Identify roles for everyone
-Tech person, will record, edit, and publish
-Narrator/main speaker
-Characters to interview about the topics
*Practice Run through of script
*Record Script
PART 4: Publish or share with Mr. Gardner to present to the class
