Prospective IB Students

Attention 8th graders: 

The Application Timeline 2025-2026:

• Wednesday, October 1st: Applications Open

• Monday, October 6th @ 6:30 pm: Information Night in DCHS Theater  

• Tuesday, December 2nd at 5:30 pm in the DCHS Multipurpose Room in the Jim Steele Building: IB Friendsgiving - Prospective students can meet and talk with current IB students while playing games. Prospective parents can meet and talk with current IB parents. 

• Monday, December 8th: Applications Close

• Saturday, January 10th, 2026: Interviews held at DCHS

• Friday, January 30th, 2026 @ 5:00 pm: Acceptance Decisions emailed

• Friday, February 6th: Student Commitments Due

• February 13-March 6: Magnet Permissive Transfers window for County Office (More information provided to accepted students).
