Dear BASE (Before and After School Enterprise) Families,
Thank you for choosing our BASE Program, it is always our privilege to serve your family. Our
mission is to promote the safety, well-being, and development of every child while partnering
with school and community to be the best choice for families. Our programs are primarily self-
funded and our main source of revenues comes from tuition payments. Program expenses,
including salaries, benefits, equipment and supplies, utilities, transportation, nurse support, and
field trip costs are part of the program's operating budget.
As a result of increases in several operating costs, employee compensation and benefits, supplies
and materials, excursions, and transportation, we are adjusting our rates accordingly:
2023-2024 Transportation fee, effective July 1, 2023:
➢ $7 per child, per off site field trip when transportation is utilized
2023-2024 Activity/field trip fees
➢ Activity and/or field trip fees will continue to be charged per child based on cost of
activity.
2023-2024 Tuition rates, effective July 1, 2023:
➢ Before School Program: $15.00 On time, $18.00 Late sign up, $20.00 Drop in
➢ After School Program: $14.00 On Time, $17.00 Late sign up, $19.00 Drop in
➢ Full Day program: $35.00 on time, $39.00 Late sign up, $41.00 Drop in
These rates align and are comparable with our neighboring BASE programs, and very
competitive with private child care providers in the area.
Please know we are also working together to assess our goals and needs for next year and
maximize resources effectively while minimizing the impact to children.
We appreciate your support and please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Alicia Elmore
