Technology

Technology plays a significant role in the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to use various educational software to enhance the learning process this year. Some of the tools students will be using include, but are not limited to: PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Kidspiration, Graph Club, and Kid Pix.

Library

Every week we go to the library for book check out. If your kindie has returned their book they will be allowed to check out another book for the week. If they forgot to return their library book they may look at books in the library but will not be allowed to check out another book until it is returned.

Book Care

Keep good care of your books and return them on time.

1. Keep your books in a safe place away from pets and younger children.

2. Keep ;your school library books away from your books at home. Store library books in your backpack when you're not reading them and they will be at school when you need to return them.

3. Keep food and drink away from books.

4. Keep ;your hands clean while reading.

5. Keep from tearing the pages by turning them from the corners, slowly and carefully.

6. Keep your books indoors protecting them from bad weather and sprinklers.

7. Keep ;your books in a gallon plastic bag. This will protect them in your backpack from pencil and crayon marks and "exploding water bottles".

8. Keep a bookmark handy to use to mark your place.
