We are not exempt from sales tax on airlines. It is expected that you will need to pay for tax with airline purchases. The federal excise tax assessed on air travel is distinct from the federal income tax and state and local sales and use taxes, from which DCSD is exempt. Tax-exempt organizations are not exempt from federal excise taxes.

Please submit the ticket 48 hours prior to leaving for your trip. This ensures that the limits are increased and restrictions are lifted before you leave. The ticket will not be processed any earlier and may result in you needing to resubmit one.
