First, please submit a PCard HelpDesk ticket (select Other as the option) requesting the Sam's Club membership be added to your card 24 hours prior to purchasing your membership.
One designated person from your school or department (typically the Bookkeeper), would go to www.samsclub.com and click "Join" in the top right-hand corner. All Memberships are to be in your school or department's name. (e.g. First Name: Strategic, Last Name: Sourcing) Any of the memberships are allowed to be purchased and please note that all points received would belong to your school or department.
3. Once you have the membership number, you need to create an account online. Do NOT select "Auto Renew." Renewals will be done online when the time comes.
4. Next, you can provide DCSD Tax Exempt Certificate at the Member Services Desk at your local club. You can no longer do this online.
Only the designated person who created the account for your school or department will have access to the Sam's Club online account, therefore, he/she will be the only one who can place orders. If any other staff would like to place an order, they can create an online list or send an email.
The membership CANNOT be used for personal purchases.
Always follow p-card policies. If you'd like to purchase furniture from www.samsclub.com, it must be approved by Strategic Sourcing first.
*If any of the above rules are violated, your Sam’s Club membership may be revoked. Please email StrategicSourcing@dcsdk12.org for further questions.
You may have two (2) cards under your one (1) district membership per school/ department.
To add a second card, please submit a PCard HelpDesk ticket (select Other as the option) requesting that the Sam's Club membership be added to the second card.

LOST MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION: Memberships are for one year. If an employee changes within the school or department, please do not open a new membership. Contact a Member Services representative at 1-888-746-7726 to obtain the membership number or reset your password.
