Supporting the School is an important role for parents and the community.
The Kids Wonderfund helps provide a broad range of facilities and services:
We are currently considering the construction of a stair-and-seating area along the southern facade of the school hall. This would replace the former timber structure that once existed. It may include new doors from the hall opening to a rostrum area with a view that the area serves as shaded play/lunch time seating area along with the optional use for outside assemblies. This concept is in its early stages and we will provide much more detail as diagrams and costings become available.
Please contact the President of the P&C if you have any questions or comments.
The P&C wants to help local and small businesses reach a well-connected and committed community of active and engaged families.
Email the P&C today to discuss the range of sponsorship and other marketing opportunites we offer.
Parent volunteers also run the scholastic book club. Although not an official school fundraiser, the book-club orders generate credit towards free books for the children's classrooms, teaching resources and school library.
We are also in the process of developing a school kitchen garden with the aim of being able to sell the produce grown by hardworking parents and students. We always in need of green thumbed helpers. We have planted heaps of veggies this term including lettuce, rocket, kale, cabbage, spinach, corn, various herbs, tomatoes, a passionfruit vine and three citrus trees (one in each of the new beds). Take a look next time you pass by! Thank you so much to our small army of watering folk who help us keep the vegetable gardens well watered.
Once the veggies are big enough to harvest we will have a small stall - we will let you know!
Thanks to all the hard work of many, many parents and the generosity of our sponsors. We continue to contribute important funding that improves our school for the benefit of our children and community.
