The contribution of the P&C

In past years the P&C has been involved in extensive dialogue on planning for enhancements to our terrific school. This included:

• working on a master plan for the continued improvement of the school’s structural facilities.
• working towards the funding of a specialist Maths teacher. This teacher works two days per week to assist children throughout the school, at both support and extension levels.
• providing funding for a Literacy teacher, working 2 days per week at all levels in the school. We have a great fundraising team, who work toward achieving our goals, and building a sense of community at the same time.

Our Before and After School Activities program provides a range of interesting activities, open to all students to become involved in. Our Out-Of-School-Hours care program (DBOOSH) continues to offer quality care to children, with interesting and educational activities each afternoon. DBOOSH and its committee also substantially contribute to the fundraising efforts of the school.

We have consistently been able to meet all of our financial obligations and look forward to the challenge of raising the bar this year.
