Expectations while learning at home:

Directions for completing assignments:

• I will post all of your assignments at the beginning of the week.
• You can complete them in any order. All assignments must be completed and turned in by Sunday of each week.
• You should only be working 30-45 minutes a day on each subject.

10/7-10/11

• Begin the novel Touching Spirit Bear
• The students will have a vocabulary quiz each week.
• Vocab quiz on Ch. 1-5 on 10/11
• Through the novel study we will continue to work on plot and characterization.

9/30-10/4

• Continuing with short stories and story elements focusing on plot and characterization

9/16-9/20

• The students are working on story elements.
• The students will read short stories and apply what they are learning to the short stories: Ta-Na-E-Ka

9/9-9/13

• The students are working on story elements.
• The students will read short stories and apply what they are learning to the short stories: Just Once and The Stone.
• Quiz on 9/13 on story elements vocabulary. The words are in their binders.
