Year 7
This Trip: Andrew, Eric, Joe, Jim, Chris, Chad, Dasan, David, Scott
Chris was the lucky guy this year (we hid the dart in his tacos)
He did well, hitting closest to Jump River
Filling in the banner
Had some problems with the furnace. CW was kind enough to let us plug in as we filled up
Excellent beer
Joe doesn't want to hear it, or is he trying to hear better?
Not even sure what that is a map of
Can't believe our server dealt with our nonsense
Nice thing about the snow, no designated parking spots
Made the Jump!
About a city block from the population sign was some neon glow beckoning us....
Dinner was fantastic here. Prime rib was on point
Can't be a bear's den without a bear
At the Den, a local named Del heard our story and said we had to check out another bar down the street
He brought us down the block and opened our worlds to Cindy and her place
We are glad he did, and despite it being closed, Cindy opened the bar just for us!
Cindy told us she shut down early because she was tired from shoveling snow off of her roof!
Story of the harmonica
Still has the lung power to play her 6-sided harmonica
Cinderella shared a wealth of stories
Not an empty space on the wall
Cindy even had places to lounge
94 years old and still tickles those ivories with the best of em
Thanks for the hospitality Cindy! Your stop was one of our favorites
Boots, Cindy's meower
Del called over to Lisa (on Cindy's rotary phone nonetheless), who owns a bar down the other street in Jump River, to ask if we'd be able to park the RV over night. Lisa was more than welcoming to our group so we headed over there for the remainder of the night.
We spent the rest of the night at Lisa's G-Spot Tavern playing darts,
and hanging with the locals
Lisa was most accommodating
Time to head to the RV for the night. The temps were well below 0
Although plugged in, the furnace in the RV couldn't keep up with the cold. However we survived the night and awoke bright and early
America AF Lisa
It's true
The custom hats were looking too fly to pass up
Gingerbread man made an appearance (Scott doesn't travel without it)
Thanks for letting us stay Lisa, it was a pleasure
Getting comfortable on our way back
