Welcome to second grade at Field School! I am so excited to embark on this learning journey with you. I realize that our classroom and learning will look very differently than in previous years, but I am confident that we will have a great year! Throughout this year, you will finetune your reading as you learn new strategies, discover new authors, and tackle more difficult stories. You will learn to organize your ideas and use your imagination as you create many different types of stories. You will grow as a mathematician as you tackle math problems, notice patterns, and problem-solve. You will make observations in science as you engage in the world around you. Basically, you all will become such fabulous readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists!
