Individual Counseling
We strive to meet the unique needs of young people at Emerson Middle School.
Students have the opportunity to meet with us on an individual basis to explore social, emotional, and/or behavioral issues that may impact learning, academic performance, and school functioning. Students may refer themselves by visiting the Counseling Office in Room 140. Students may also access this confidential form below (D64 Google Account login required).
Parents, teachers, and administrators may also refer a student when it is observed that difficulties are interfering with learning. If you would like your child to see a counselor, please contact us via email or phone.
Confidentiality is important to the counseling process. Both students and adults who work with counselors must feel that their concerns are being held in confidence. Confidentiality is not maintained when there are concerns related to safety.
