Testing Information

FALL TESTING-Wednesday, October 16, 2019

  • Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT. The results of this exam are used to qualify student to be National Merit Scholars.
  • Sophomores will take the PSAT/NMSQT as a practice exam. Results will also be used to determine the need to place students into intervention programs to help prepare for the SAT they will take as juniors.
  • Freshmen will take the PSAT 8/9.
  • Testing begins promptly at 7:30 am (morning buses will run at the same times), dismissal will be at 12:30 pm.
  • Seniors are expected to participate in "College and Career Day" activities and will not be in attendance

SPRING TESTING-Tuesday, April 14, 2020

  • Juniors will take the State Provided SAT with Essay. This is a State and District Graduation Requirement. Students will receive a college reportable SAT score.
  • Sophomores will take the PSAT 10 as a practice exam. Results will also be used to determine the need to place students into intervention programs to help prepare for the SAT they will take as juniors.
  • Freshmen will take the PSAT 8/9.
  • Testing begins promptly at 7:30 am (morning buses will run at the same times), dismissal will be at 12:30 pm

AP TESTING-May 4-15, 2020

  • Any students wishing to take an exam for a class in which they are not enrolled must complete a registration form and pay the associated fee by Friday, October 4, 2019.

    • A College Board $45 fee may apply to Late Exams.

ILLINOIS SCIENCE ASSESSMENT

  • The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) will be administered to all juniors. The window for this test is March 2-April 30, 2020. The entire test is on-line only.
