Prospect Library

Welcome to Prospect's Library website!

Three major goals of the library are to foster a love of reading, support student learning, and help students express their learning in new ways. We work closely with classroom teachers to support the curriculum in many different areas.

2023-2024 Typical Library Checkout Days:

Monday: 2-Turrentine

Tuesday: 4-Shramovich, 5-Legner

Wednesday: 3-Palumbo, 2-Nolin, 4-Litman, 2-Segovia, Kpm-Bergin

Thursday: 1-Abitz, 3-Bauer, Kam-Bergin, 5-Tweedie,

Friday: 3-Goetz, 4-Matt, 1-Johnson, 5-Akiti (sometimes will come on Monday instead)

If students need new books before their class day, they can also come visit the library at another time that works for their classroom teacher, or right after school if that works for their families.

The library is also closely connected to the iLab (Innovation Lab).  Students in grades 1-5 will be visiting the iLab weekly to explore the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) with engaging projects as well as some open tinkering time. Kindergarten will typically visit the ILab every other week.
