Live Safety Drill at Wauconda High School
On Monday, November 3, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wauconda CUSD 118, in collaboration with the Wauconda Police Department and various other village partners, will be conducting a live safety drill at Wauconda High School.
This is a planned training designed to enhance the preparedness and coordination of D118 staff and first responders.
During this time, community members may notice an increased presence of police, fire, and emergency vehicles in the area.
There is no threat to the community.
Monday, November 3 is an Institute Day for District 118 staff. No students will be on campus for the duration of the training.
