Robert Crown School to Implement E-Learning - Thursday, January 22, 2026
Wauconda Public Works has informed District 118 that once the affected water main is fixed, they will flush all of Robert Crown’s water systems within the school and then send water out to be tested. Wauconda Public Works anticipates the water-testing process taking 24-hours, requiring Robert Crown School to also utilize an E-Learning Day on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
The Wauconda Park District’s Before and After-School Program at Robert Crown School will also be cancelled on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
All other D118 Schools will have a normal day of school on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Cotton Creek School, Wauconda Grade School, Matthews Middle School, Wauconda Middle School, and Wauconda High School are not impacted by the water main break and will still have in-person learning on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
