If a student currently attends a D118 school and is changing schools, they are still a returning student. Returning Students need to register through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Required Documents to Complete New Student Registration
To ensure accurate enrollment, Wauconda CUSD 118 requires all new students to undergo a residency verification process. To enroll your student, the following documentation must be presented:
Proof of Identity
A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate. (MUST BE PRESENTED IN PERSON)
Proof of Residency
You must provide the required number of documents from both categories below. All documents must reflect your current address within the District. (MAY BE UPLOADED DURING REGISTRATION OR PRESENTED IN PERSON)
Most recent property tax bill (homeowners)
Mortgage papers (homeowners)
Signed and dated lease (renters)
Letter from manager (trailer park residents)
Letter of residence from landlord in lieu of lease (7:60-AP2, E1)
Letter of residence to be used when the person seeking to enroll a student is living with a District resident (7:60-AP2, E2)
Driver’s license
Vehicle registration
Voter registration
Most recent cable television and/or credit card bill
Current bank statement
Current public aid card
Current homeowners/renters’ insurance policy and premium payment receipt
Most recent gas, electric, and/or water bill
