What does a student Library volunteer do?
Shelving and arranging books
Helping other students find books to read
Cleaning and organizing (includes straightening art supplies, repairing books, dusting)
Assisting with special projects and craft activities
What are the qualifications??
A library volunteer candidate must:
...Be in 7th or 8th grade
...Love Libraries
...Learn how to put books in order alphabetically and numerically
...Show a cooperative, friendly attitude and follow directions
...Obtain parent or guardian permission to volunteer
or ask in person at the main circulation desk

We're also looking for experienced student volunteers who are interested in tutoring, or becoming Library Docents to conduct Library orientation tours for fellow students.
