Volunteering for Children's Tumor Foundation

On behalf of the Board of Directors, President and Staff, welcome and thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer partner with the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF). Achieving our mission to drive research, expand knowledge, and advance care for the NF community requires a community-wide effort, and that’s why we’re so pleased that you’ve chosen to join the CTF team and help make a difference for those living with NF. Volunteers are the guiding force behind CTF and an integral factor in raising both awareness and raising the funds for research, which will lead to effective treatments and ultimately, a cure for NF.

The handbook (see below) was prepared to provide you with some essential information about the Foundation, our policies, values, and expectations, as well as the opportunities we will provide to you as a volunteer. We understand that this handbook may not answer all of the questions you have about our programs and policies, so please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please familiarize yourself with the contents of the handbook, as the policies described in it replace all prior policies, handbooks, or policy guidance that may previously have been provided. We hope this handbook will give you the necessary direction that you will need to ensure that you have the best possible experience with us. We depend on you—your success is our success!
