Travelers EDGE® – Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment – is an innovative educational opportunity developed by Travelers. The program provides college students with financial, academic, professional development and mentoring support while preparing students for a career at Travelers.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants to the Travelers EDGE Program must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a high school senior or first-year college student planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at one of the following Travelers' approved, eligible colleges for the entire 2021-22 academic year.

    • Central Connecticut State University, Connecticut;

    • University of Connecticut, Connecticut;

    • Capital Community College, Connecticut;

    • Augsburg University, Minnesota;

    • Metro State University, Minnesota;

    • St. Paul College, Minnesota

  • Priority will be given to high school seniors; secondary consideration will be given to current first-year college students should any available scholarship slots go unfilled.

  • Current university first-year students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Additionally, current university first-year applicants must have completed at least 12-credit hours at the time of application with the intention of completing at least 24-credit hours by the end of their freshman year.

  • Must demonstrate financial need as documented by a FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) with an estimated family contribution (EFC) of $7,500 or less.

  • Be eligible to work in the United States without needing sponsorship. (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, DACA)

  • Planning to enroll in a course of study relevant to insurance and financial services. Eligible undergraduate declared majors: Accounting, Human Resources, Actuarial Science, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration/Management, International Business, Communications, Mathematics (Applied or Other), Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Marketing, Engineering - Computer, Mechanical, and Electrical, Risk Management/Insurance, Finance, Statistics
