Where do UB and UBMS stand? 

Like any organization, UB and UBMS need funds to function.  Normally these funds come prior to the school year in the form of a GAN (grant award notification).  This year UBMS has received its GAN and is operating as normal.  

UB has not yet received a GAN, and while we expect one shortly, until we have the funds were are only running on what we have from the previous year.  With open UB staff positions we had planned to cover their schools with UBMS Staff. We have since been told that due to grant financial regulations, we would be unable to do that.  

GOING FORWARD: 

• UBMS will operate normally.

• UB 10th and 11th graders will not have school visits to attend.  UB 12th graders are asked to join a Senior Seminar pt. 2 Zoom meeting on Wednesday September 10th, starting at 6pm.  (https://css.zoom.us/j/87826683060)

Our first Saturday Session is Volunteering at Bentleyville Saturday September 20th from 9-12:30, dress for the weather and get ready to earn valuable volunteering hours.  Breakfast snacks and lunch provided.
