- Choose the Google/GMail account you will use to access App Inventor. If necessary, create a new account.
- Set up App Inventor on the computer you will use during class:
- Option 1: Use Windows or Linux on one of the computers in 235 along with a phone or tablet and AI Companion. Log in using your Dons username and the last six digits of your student ID as your password.
- Option 2: Use your own Windows or Mac computer with the Emulator. To do this, you must download the emulator for your platform.
- Option 3: Use your own Windows or Mac computer with a phone or tablet and AI Companion.
- If using Option 1:
- Connect your phone or tablet to the CS107 network. In Settings -> Wireless & Network Settings -> Wi-Fi Settings scroll to the bottom and select Add Wi-Fi Network. Enter CS107 as the SSID (note the capital CS), choose WPA 2 as the Security, and enter 1kudlick as the password.
- In the Google Play store download the MIT AI2 Companion.
- If using Option 3:
- Connect your computer and phone/tablet to the same wireless network. You may use USF Wireless, or you may use the network CSLabs. The password for CSLabs is 1kudlick.
- In the Google Play store download the MIT AI2 Companion.
