Band Class

6th Grade Band A will meet on green days, 1st hour (7:50-8:41).

6th Grade Band B will meet on green days, 3rd hour (9:40-10:31).

Students will need their instrument, accessories (valve oil, reeds, mallets), Standard of Excellence Book 1 and band binder with a pencil for rehearsals.

Vocal Sharing

Students have the option to play in the band and sing in the choir. Instead of attending band rehearsal or PE class on vocal sharing day (Mondays), students will go to choir rehearsal.

Band Concerts

Band concerts are held in the Harding Middle School auditorium beginning at 6 p.m. Students should arrive at 5:45 p.m. in the band room. Band concert attire is black from the waist down and white from the waist up. Students should wear dark socks and shoes. Scheduled concert dates include October 10, February 13 and May 7.
