See our Brands|Product Categories Page and scroll down to "Cookstoves" to view manufacturer's cookstove pages.
Cook-stoves, as their name implies, are intended to be used for cooking and are not usually a primary heat source. However, cook-stoves that burn solid fuel, such as wood or coal, will provide heat in much the same way as any other free-standing stove. If heating is not needed or desired than the fuel of choice is usually gas or electric.
Many cook-stoves have matching wall ovens and refrigerators to coordinate your entire kitchen. See our separate page on ovens and refrigerators here.
Some free-standing wood stoves can effectively be used as emergency cook stoves, when needed, such as during an extended power outage. See this page for a selection of wood stoves that can also be used for cooking.
