Internet or Long-Distance Sales Policy

Our policy on Internet and Long-Distance Sales is simple. We share the position of the Hearth Industry in general and believe that appliances such as stoves and fireplaces require specialized knowledge to be safely installed and serviced. And we respect the right of every company to set their own policies and do what is best for their own business.

Our policy on the sale of hearth appliances through our company will be to sell these appliances only in our local market area where we can be of assistance in the proper service and installation of the stove, fireplace or insert. We will not take orders over the internet, phone or mail, for hearth appliances that are not to be installed in or near our own local market area.

This restriction on long-distance sales shall not be enforced on certain clearance items where the sale is made to a qualified hearth specialist who will be entrusted with the proper service and installation of the hearth appliance.This policy only applies to hearth appliances and not to hearth accessories, repair parts, general gift items or other products sold by the Cracker Mill Hearth and Emporium.

The following hearth appliances are under this policy and Internet or other long-distance sales will be restricted to our local market:

Built-in Fireplaces - wood, gas

Stoves - wood, coal, pellet, gas

Inserts - wood, coal, pellet, gas

Cookstoves - wood, gas

Furnaces - wood, coal, pellet

Gas Log Sets

Heater Grates

Gas Grills

Any other fuel burning appliances

If you are in our local market we will do everything we can to meet your needs in a hearth appliance.
