In fourth grade the expectation for math homework is that each student will spend about 30 minutes on their homework.
This means they will:
- Try their best to complete their homework in a focused attempt to complete the page(s) in 30 minutes.
- If they tried their best and used their time well they should let Ms. Logiudice know about the trouble spots and turn in what they were able to complete.
- They will use 10 minutes of that time on Fact Fluency - directions for that will be determined by their Fastt Math progress.
- They are responsible for all homework that is forgotten, missed, undone.
- Weekly reports will inform parents about the work that has been turned in every week.
Remember the goals of homework are to reinforce skills learned in school, develop positive habits & attitudes around school work responsibilities, and to help keep home & school connected in the material being covered in class.
