Service Opportunities

Service: Service consists of a students' selfless and consistent involvement and voluntary commitment of time and energy to a program outside of the school day that benefits a community/non-profit organization. 

To remain in good standing, students are required to participate in community service.  Students should document all hours on their Community Service Log.  If possible, students are asked to provide one picture of themselves performing their community service.

Raking leaves in a neighbor's yard

Babysitting (for free)

Shoveling a neighbor's driveway

Tutoring a peer

Making a care package

Clean up at a local park or field

Volunteer to help coach/instruct a team/activity

Volunteer to help run a scoreboard or concession stand at an athletic event or competition

Ask your team teachers if you can volunteer to tutor during Advisory or lunch blocks

Contact the Coventry Public Library (or any library!) to ask about community service opportunities
