Multiplication Facts

I have found that it is easiest for most students to commit multiplication facts to memory in the following order:

Begin with 0 and 1 facts.

Continue on with 2 facts, followed by , 5, 10, 11, 4, 3, 6, 8, 7, 9, and 12 times tables.

It is our strong belief that each child needs to leave third grade with his/her multiplication facts solidly memorized. Once multiplication facts are mastered, students can more easily focus their attention on multi-step word problems.

Please consider having your child visit XTRA Math. It's a great way for your child to practice their math facts.
