Senior I.D. Program
The Columbia County Department of Motor Vehicles will issue non-driver's identification cards to seniors in the community. To obtain the non-driver's ID, follow these simple steps:
- Fill out the Application for License for Non-Driver ID (MV44). If you have ever had a NY State License, check the appropriate box. If you do not know the number, the DMV can look it up for you.
- If you currently hold a driver's license and no longer drive, you can surrender the driver's license and get a non-driver ID, you cannot have both.
Six point of ID are required to obtain a non-driver's ID in New York. Items to obtain six point included:
Required: Birth Certificate and Social Security Card
