Have you seen Cooliris yet?

It's an application which transforms your browser into a clean, cinematic viewer for images and video. It's great for browsing search results from Google Images, Flickr and Youtube. You can simply turn it on and off when you want to use it for viewing. You could even put together an image group in Flilckr and show it as a class presentation in a pinch using your web browser.
