• Watch: Dramatic "Re-creation"
• Boston Massacre Visuals and differing newspaper articles will be taped to whiteboards. Walk around the room, silently, and comment on AUTHOR, POV, or PURPOSE.
• Discussion: How did differing POV's exacerbate conflict? How is this an example of inevitable conflict between the two parties?

When you finish:

-Take a primary source packet and close-read, keeping these questions in mind:

• What economic and political factors led each side toward this event?
• Where is this information coming from?
• Who is the source and what is their goal?
• How could this event, and the corresponding propaganda, have sparked the American Revolution?

Exit Card:

Create a newspaper headline, from the Massacre or the Tea Party, that would help unite colonists.
