I was born in Santiago, Chile. I grew up near Los Andes Mountains, and enjoyed living in such spectacular place until I was 10 years old. I then had the opportunity to come to the U.S. We first lived near almond and rose fields, near Bakersfield, California. I graduated from Wasco Union High School. We then moved to Fresno, California where I completed all of my Education. I graduated from California State University in 2010. I have now been part of Bear Nation for the past 13 years.

Writing is may passion. While at Fresno State, I founded the first Spanish literary journal, Revista literaria Austral (2009). I have also published 2 poetry books in Spanish:
