About Me

Hello I am Mr David Valdez. I grew up on a small vinyard farm in Selma CA. I attended and graduated from Selma High School then continued my education at Reedley College. I then transfered to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for one year and then compleated my education at CSU, Fresno double majoring in Agriculture Education and Animal Science.

I have been happily married for over twenty five years and have three children who have all been very active in FFA and Agriculture. I have taught a number of courses from Ag Mechanics, Animal Science, Ornamental Horticulture, Ag Computers, Ag Economics, Ag Government and Exploratory Agriculture over my plus twenty five year career.

I coach the Livestock Judging team, Banking team, CO-Ops Team, and Tree Pruning team here at Clovis East. The leadership development events I coach are Prepared Public Speaking and Extemporanous Public Speaking. I supervise the swine projects and help with the agriculture mechanics projects.
