Grades

Grading Policy:

        Mrs. Burdine's grades will be based on a “weighted” system.  Grades will be based on student’s performance on Assessment 50%, Quizzes 10% and Class/Homework 40% 

        Assignments must be turned in on time to receive full credit.  LATE assignments receive up to 70% and are accepted until the test day!  Any assignment receiving a grade below 70% may be corrected and resubmitted to raise the grade to 70%.  LATE work and Revisions are accepted only until the day of the Unit Assessments. 

      Students are expected to check grades on StudentConnect weekly.   There is NEVER a time when my students should say they are unaware of their grades!

Online Grades:

 Students are expected to check grades on StudentConnect weekly.   There is NEVER a time when my students should say they are unaware of their grades!   ParentConnect is a VERY useful tool where grades can be found online 24/7 - check it out and use it!  You will need your predetermined confidential Personal Identification Number (PIN) as well as your password.   ***Please sign up for and check ParentSquare regularly!  I send a weekly State of Science message explaining upcoming lessons, assessments, and important reminders!**
