The mission of the ASI Science Department is to provide a quality laboratory-based science program that fosters a lifelong enjoyment of science. We will be fully integrated in the NEW NGSS as well as utilizing challenging hands on activities that emphasize the experimental and discovery nature of science. In our science instruction we include technology, STEM practices and AVID strategies.

There are several opportunities provided for the student who are genuinely interested in learning more which include: Science Fair, Science Olympiad and 8th Grade Honors Science. Check with your teacher for specific details if you are interested in finding out more!
