My name is Gina Burdine. I am one of 8 Science teachers at ASI. This is my 30th year at ASI and my 36th year of teaching. I have a burning desire to teach, encourage, and make a difference in my students’ lives. If I can teach, motivate, and get students interested in the incredible world of science, I will consider this year a total success!

I have been married to my husband Craig for 29 years. We have two beautiful children. Shealyn is 27, and Joshua is 26. Both of my children graduated from Buchanan and Fresno State University! Shealyn is now teaching Math 1 & Math 2 at BHS, and Josh is working at Dutch Bros and coaching JV Football at BHS...Go Bear Nation!

Family time is significant for the Burdines. We enjoy spending time at the beach in our trailer, are avid Survivor fans, and attend Cross City Church.
