Firstly, a huge well done for all the fantastic work you completed prior to the Easter holidays - the poetry notes and creative writing tasks are very impressive!
Well done and thank you to those of you who were able to watch the The Globe production of 'Romeo and Juliet' on Monday night, if you weren't able to I believe the link is active until Sunday 3rd May: https://youtu.be/eSAlPJ0FG_0 so please do your best to watch it.
Given the length of the production I do not wish to overload you with work this week as I am sure you have lots of work to do from other subjects. With this in mind, please could you watch the daily BBC English lessons and make notes accordingly. Where possible, please either share your notes with me, or send me a photo if they are handwritten. The lessons are all available using this link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zr7447h/year-10-lessons/1you will see that the whole weeks worth of lessons are available at any one time, so please do not worry if you cannot log on one day.
For the week commencing Monday 27th April, and the weeks following this date please follow these instructions:
Please find attached two documents:
-Year 10 Lockdown Work
-Language Revision
You will find in the first document all the instructions for revision tasks for this term.
Each week you will have both Language and Literature tasks to complete. All the resources are clearly listed and contain links within the text. These tasks are broken down into week long chunks, and should be spread out across the week.
The EMC Revision for English Language is attached here.
If you don't have your own copies of An Inspector Calls and A Christmas Carol, fear not - there are links to free PDF copies in the resources column.
You will need to contact your class teacher each week with evidence of tasks complete. This can be typed, or a picture of handwritten notes.
If you have any questions, please get in touch. It is really important that we look over the skills we have covered - as this would have been a period of revision as we would have been approaching the Year 10 Mocks. So please make sure that the notes are clear and detailed, as they will be important when we return to school.
