Exposure Information [MLC]

Exposure Information is as follows. Required exposure information is bold.  All of the exposure information is in the Mlc-Exposure worksheet. You must 'link' each exposure record to a claimant using either the ClaimantID or the Claimant SSN from the Mlc-Claim worksheet. 

Exposure Information entry you must follow the rules below.

• Expsosure Begin Date

• Exposure End Date

• Exposure Occupation Code

  • three digit code provided by CRMC see Occupation codes here

• Exposure Occupation Other Comment

  • if the three digit code for Occupation code is 'Other' you must provide a comment describing the occupation

• Exposure Site Type

  • valid options are:

    • 5061

      • MLC Site

    • 5062

      • SOE Site

• Exposure Site Country

  • see country codes here

• Exposure Site Name

• Exposure Site City

• Exposure Site State/Province

  • When the site country is USA, then a state code is required, see state codes here; otherwise Province of exposure

• Exposure Description

  • When the MLC site is entered,  you are required to describe exposure to Old GM asbestos-containing products including the identity of the product(s)

• Exposure Type Code

  • When the SOE site is entered, you are required to enter a code, see valid codes here

• Employer Information

• Exposure Principal Information

*If you are unfamilar with any of the codes please contact CRMC for assistance. It is very important that the correct codes are used.
