Online Databases

All of the library’s research database subscriptions can be accessed through the library’s website. Badgerlink is a free collection of databases available to any Wisconsin resident, while in Wisconsin. If you want to access any of the paid subscription resources from home, see Ms. Ambelang.

Badgerlink: From the EBSCO database list, MAS Ultra-School Edition, MasterFile Premier, and Academic Search Premier offer a great place to start your search, and get basic information. Encyclopedia Britannica may also be helpful.

CQ Researcher: This offers an indepth look at a variety of topics. Most articles are fairly lengthy.

Facts on File: Facts on File spans a multitude of subject areas such as U.S. history, world history, language and literature, science and technology, careers, social issues and many others.

Points of View Reference Center: For each issue covered, two articles explain both sides of a controversial topic or issue.

Gale: In depth information about a wide range of topics. It is similar to EBSCO, but larger and more comprehensive.
