The best way to begin your search is to figure out key terms that point to the specific information you need. Using specific terms while searching results in better, faster, and more concise information retrieval (basically this will help you find good information quickly). Use some of the key terms listed below (for example) when searching the Internet or your local library's online catalog:
Greek legends; Greek mythology
If possible, give the specific legend: Oedipus Rex, Agamemnon
Greek god; Greek goddess
If possible, give the specific name: Poseidon, Minerva, Aphrodite, Zeus
Greek heroes
If possible, give the specific name: Odysseus, Helena
Greek mythological creatures (or monsters)
If possible, give the specific name: cyclops; Pegasus; Minotaur
Specific events or key ideas: Trojan horse, Achilles' heel

Gale Virtual Reference Library has an online encyclopedia about Ancient Greece and Rome. Information about your myth is arranged alphabetically by the person the myth is about. Most myths have quite extensive sections. You can also try the Encyclopedia of World Mythology for even more information.
History, Criticism, and Full-Text of Greek Myths
The Classical and Biblical resources section of Literary Resources on the Net contains some links related to Greek mythology and literature.
History for Kids' Greek Civilization Topics, with a specific section for the Arts.
Click on Badgerlink link. Under "Browse by Audience" (on the right hand side of your screen after you scroll down a bit). Select "High School Students".
Scroll down until you find "MAS Ultra." Be sure to select all EBSCO databases.Explore the resource.
Go back to Badgerlink. Find "Encyclopedia Britannica Online High School Edition." Explore the resource.
