Extended Trips/Vacations
It is important to the fluidity of a child’s education that they maintain consistent attendance in school. If, on the rare occasion, a child must be out for an extended period of time, notify the office of any extended trip or vacation plans. The parent assumes responsibility to ensure that the student’s educational requirements are met upon return. When students are absent due to family vacations, teachers are not required to provide assignments BEFORE the child leaves, as homework is often dependent upon daily classwork.
