Parents and students are responsible for proper attire. Selections should reflect awareness of health and safety while keeping the ultimate goal of education in mind. Clothing that creates a needless distraction will not be permitted. The following list that shall serve as a guideline of inappropriate clothing:
short-shorts; pants that sit below the hips and can easily fall off; tops with very thin or no straps; tops that expose midriff; clothing that exposes undergarments; inappropriate neck lines; pajamas* or slippers; clothing with lewd or inappropriate messages; hats* inside the building; shoes with wheels; and accessories that could be viewed as a danger.
*These items may be allowed on “Spirit Days”
If a student’s clothing is deemed inappropriate, they will be asked to call home for a change of clothing.
