Bragg School conducts drills as mandated by District and State Policy so everyone will be prepared in case of an emergency. Students are expected to follow ALL directions given by staff members during these drills. Fire Drills are conducted so students can quickly and efficiently exit the building. Crisis Drills, such as but not limited to Evacuations, Shelter in Place, and Lock Downs, are used to prepare in case of other emergencies such as dangerous weather events or strangers in the building. Taking these drills seriously and following the rules during a drill is required of everyone at Bragg School. As noted in the Code of Conduct, students are expected to act in a manner that is responsible, respectful, and safe. These actions are critical during events such as emergency/crisis drills.
Parents/Guardians will receive notification through Blackboard when a drill has occurred. Please talk with your child about their experience and reach out with any questions.
